Panmure Basin

Panmure Basin is situated on Lagoon Drive, next to the Panmure Swimming Pools. The short 3 km stroll provides very nice scenery, moreso when the tide is in.

The paths are paved all the way around which makes for easy walking, although there are places where tree roots are coming through.

It is quite a popular place for joggers and walkers alike and there are fitness stations along the way, for those who are that way inclined!

Slightly off the beaten track is a walkway which passes a shag nesting area...

...and a rather large photo opportunity!

Dogs are welcome at Panmure Basin, but must be kept on lead at all times.

There are a few entrances to the basin. One with a small amount of parking next to a skate park, off Lagoon Drive. Others are located off Ireland Road.
